On the first day of your North American adventure, you'll touch down at Calgary's International Airport and take a scenic transfer to the charming parkland town of Banff.
Upon arrival, take some time to settle into your hotel and spend the afternoon wandering through Banff's idyllic streets, exploring its diverse shops, savouring Canadian delicacies in local eateries, and discovering the array of attractions scattered throughout Banff including several museums where you can learn all about the natural history of the surrounding area.

On today's journey, you'll see the engineering marvel of the Spiral Tunnels, the breathtaking Continental Divide, the dramatic beauty of Kicking Horse Canyon, the historic Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie, where the final spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.
You'll arrive in Kamloops this evening, where you can either spend some time exploring the city or simply relax in the comfort of your hotel room, reflecting on the day's mesmerising journey.
Your adventure continues today with another journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. You'll depart early from Kamloops Station and begin a westward journey towards Vancouver.
This stretch will be a spectacular panorama of ever-changing landscapes, from the desert-like interior through winding river canyons and pristine forests, culminating in the grandeur of the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush fields of the Fraser Valley.
Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the exhilarating rush of waters at Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. You'll pull into Vancouver in the early evening, concluding this unforgettable rail journey.
