Join Good Housekeeping readers on a memorable journey aboard the British Pullman, A Belmond Train. You'll travel from London Victoria to Highclere Castle through the tranquil English countryside to discover this exquisite country home, famous as the filming location for Downton Abbey.
Relax in an armchair seat in one of the vintage train's unique carriages, adorned with intricate marquetry and authentic Art Deco fixtures, and sip a sparkling Bellini and silver service three-course brunch as you enjoy the ever-changing rural scenery rolling by.
Upon arrival at Highclere Castle, you'll enjoy a glass of champagne as you hear an exclusive talk from Lady Carnarvon and Editor-at-Large of Good Housekeeping, Gaby Huddart. Giving you a fascinating glimpse into life living in one of England's most recognisable castles.
You'll then enjoy a private guided tour of the castle with a knowledgeable guide who'll have plenty of insights into the building, artwork and furniture in the ornate State Rooms and Castle Bedrooms. After the tour, there'll be some free time to take a leisurely stroll through the enchanting gardens and explore the Egyptian Exhibition, which details the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun by the 5th Earl of Carnarvon and Howard Carter.
After exploring Highclere, you'll return to the Belmond British Pullman, where you'll be welcomed back on board with a glass of Champagne. Sink back into your plush armchair seat and reflect on your day as you indulge in a delightful three-course dinner with wine, followed by coffee and petit fours, before pulling back into Victoria station just before 8pm.

You'll board the Belmond British Pullman at Victoria Station this morning, departing for Highclere at 09.23am. Relax in the Art-Deco carriages and the comfort of your plush seat, and take in the scenery as you sip a Bellini and enjoy a delicious three-course brunch.
You'll arrive at Newbury Racecourse in the early afternoon, where you'll be transferred to Highclere Castle by coach.
Enjoy a fascinating talk from Lady Carnarvon in the Marquee as you enjoy a welcome glass of Champagne, before touring the castle and taking some time to wander the manicured gardens and explore the Egyptian exhibition.
Later in the afternoon, you'll return to the Belmond British Pullman, where a carefully curated three-course dinner with wine is awaiting you for your journey home.
