spectacular mountain scenery.
Fly from your local airport into Italy and then transfer to the lakeside destination of Colico, where you'll enjoy a three-course dinner tonight.
Today is yours to relax and enjoy the wonderful lakeside setting of Colico. Over the next few days you'll have the chance to explore the surrounding area and discover the stunning beauty of the region.
Today you have a full day to appreciate the scenery of nearby Switzerland, travelling to St Moritz on the Bernina Railway. This incredible train journey stops at St Moritz and travels through some of the most spectacular Alpine landscapes in Europe.
Aside from admiring the splendid location, you'll also be able to take in the views over St Moritz, and visit the many museums in town. St Moritz is a magnificent location that always makes for an exciting day out. Thought of as the home of Alpine tourism, the town is a favorite with numerous celebrities and royals, and you'll find lots to see and do here.
Today you will go on an excursion to Varenna with photo stops and free time along the way. You will pass some of the most beautiful villages, nestled on the shores of Lake Como in this stunning corner of northern Italy. You'll drive through quaint lakeside ports, magnificent mountain scenery and traditional Italian villages.
When you arrive you'll meet your private guide for a private guided tour. Varenna, gracefully perched on the mountain, is one of the most panoramic spots of the lake. Explore the village and walk along the lake through the "Lover's Walk" connecting Varenna to Olivedo, and walk up to the ruins of the 11th Century Vezio Castle. The afternoon is yours at leisure. Return to Colico by private coach transfer.
Today is yours to enjoy and spend time exploring the beautiful surroundings.
Today you'll go on a full-day lake tour by boat around Lake Como. You can enjoy the views from the comfort of your private boat as you cruise across the lake. You'll sail past many of the opulent villas and manicured gardens which dot Lake Como's shores, all set against breathtaking Alpine backdrops. Upon arrival lunch will be at local restaurant. In the afternoon discover Como's historic center, its sunny piazzas, and the Como Cathedral on a private tour. You return to Colico by boat and coach.
Enjoy a final full day at leisure.
Sadly it's time to say farewell to Lake Como as you take the transfer back to the airport for your flight home.
