The dazzling Aurora Borealis has captivated humanity for generations, and the stunning Norwegian coastline serves as the perfect base to seek out this otherworldly display.
If you travel at the right time of year, sightings of the Northern Lights are near-guaranteed in the skies above Norway's Arctic. Join us on a special voyage from Bergen to the Arctic and you're almost certain to catch the greatest light show on Earth.
On this exclusive voyage, you'll be travelling with an expert team. Amongst them is the world's first Chief Aurora Chaser, Tom Kerss, an astronomer, astrophotographer and author who has previously worked at the Royal Observatory Greenwich.
Tom will host a series of insightful onboard lectures which will bring our galaxy's stars, planets and meteors closer, whilst also exploring the numerous myths and legends linked to the constellations in our skies.
As well as having many opportunities to spot the twinkling Aurora, you'll also get to see some of Norway's other incredible attractions, including the beautiful fjords, architectural gems like Nidaros Cathedral, and the incredible Tromsø Planetarium.
Your home for the duration of your cruise is the sleek MS Midnatsol, a small ship equipped with everything you need for a comfortable voyage.
Make the most of your time on board by relaxing in the sauna, working out in the fitness centre, enjoying a cocktail in the explorer lounge and bar, or simply kicking back in one of the outdoor hot tubs and soaking in the views.
Hurtigruten's promise: If there is no recorded sighting of Northern Lights during your cruise, you will be given a free 6 or 7 day Classic Voyage the year after. Ts&Cs apply.
