Hotel Review
Pennyhill Park, Bagshot, Surrey
This luxury hotel is dressed to impress in a grand 18th-century manor house, with a magnificent spa and an exquisite Michelin star restaurant headed by chef Steve Smith. You can swim to the sound of underwater music in one of the spa's eight pools, illuminated by fibre optic lighting, and sip Champagne while relaxing in the outdoor tub. Waiters are on-hand to serve drinks in and around the pools; bliss. Enjoy a superb culinary experience in The Latymer restaurant and learn about the provenance of the tasting menu's artistically presented dishes. Plus there is croquet, tennis, a jogging track and a cinema with complimentary popcorn.

Food & Drink
We love the little cards accompanying each of the dishes in The Latymer restaurant. Did you know that rice was introduced to Italy by the Arabs in the 14th century? A wild strawberry tart with vanilla and marigold was amazing, the tiny berries so ripe and bursting with intense flavour.
