WHAT WE LOVE...

Situated right on the Bloemgracht, one of the quieter, nicer canals in the hip Jordaan neighbourhood in the central canal area, this hotel is near numerous main sights and a great range of restaurants, bars and boutiques. The staff are young, friendly and enthusiastic, and rooms are cosy and charming and - although not huge - have all you need. The décor is pretty restful and neutral, and attractive design touches include exposed brick and 60s and 70s retro furniture. While there's no restaurant, generous breakfasts are offered - and limitless strong coffee.
