Hotel Review
The Lowry Hotel, Manchester
The long-term favourite of visiting celebrities and footballers, The Lowry Hotel is a modern five-star with a spa, spacious rooms and suites, and a restaurant overlooking the River Irwell. Named after one of the city's most famous artists, there are changing art exhibitions in public areas, Manchester and music-themed photographs on corridor walls, and a sculpture hanging from the ceiling on the way to the restaurant. Couples visiting Manchester on a city break will enjoy the hotel's bar with a large sun terrace, while families will appreciate all of the added touches for children, such as "Lowry Loot" to spend on treats during a stay. The spa has six treatment rooms, a relaxation room and a sauna but no pool.
