Hotel Review
Bermonds Locke, Tower Bridge, London
At the funkier end of Bermondsey Street, right on Tower Bridge Road, the burgeoning Locke chain of suite hotels turns the cool urban bolthole schtick up to 11 in their South London branch, with a lobby full of twenty-somethings beavering away on laptops, a cool courtyard with artisan furniture and hammocks, and unisex toilets where the music pumps at party levels all times of day. Old fashioned and fusty, it is not. Indeed this 143-room apartment-hotel epitomises the 'Locke Living' group's vision of providing cool, affordable urban accommodation for those who often want to stay a bit longer, and offering all the amenities you need, to do so, including kitchen facilities, discounts for stays of a week or more, and even a lobby that doubles as a co-working space!

Food & Drink
The Larder is quite simply a light, airy and very appealing place to have dinner, or just a cocktail or two- try their Negronis, made with the owners' very own 'Vault' vermouth. The truffled Baron Bigod cheese with fig and walnut toast and Bermondsey Street honey brilliantly utilizes some of the best English artisan ingredients.
Bermondsey Larder: family-run restaurant, small plates. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner. Tasting menu from £45.
Shaman: wellness café, specialty coffee and wholesome food. Open daily, 7.30am - 3.30pm.
