Hotel Review
South Place Hotel, City of London
The only hotel in the mainly restaurant-focused D&D Group - and the only one to be built in the City of London in the last century - South Place can't help but be a business hotel given its location. But it has some fun twists that make it unique - a couple of excellent restaurants and popular bars, funky art and perhaps the most dog-friendly policy in the Square Mile. Because the hotel was purpose-built, the rooms are all very similar, differing only in size, but they are all very spacious by London standards. The hotel's location just off Moorgate naturally means it's a top choice for City and corporate folk, but really this is a good place to stay whoever you are and whatever your reason for visiting London.
