Hotel Review
Sea Containers, South Bank, London
A fun-loving, design-led hotel right on the River Thames. Styled like a 1920s cruise liner, with two bars, a restaurant, spa, Curzon cinema and fitness room, it's a destination hotel rather than a jumping off point for the city. Celebrating couples and friends check in on a Friday night and don't leave until Sunday morning, making full use of the facilities. In the week, Londoners join hotel guests in the rooftop 12th Knot bar to enjoy jazz nights and comedy nights or come to sample the experimental cocktails in Lyaness Bar. Rooms have glorious river views and some boast outdoor terraces. The spa creates its own products from ingredients found in British hedgerows and some of these ingredients are also carried through to the restaurant menu.

We love watching the pleasure cruisers, cargo ships, and police boats plying their trade up and down the Thames.
The hotel is right on the river, beside Blackfriars Bridge with views of St Paul's cathedral and the London Eye.

Style & Character
Perfect for romancing couples and celebrating friends. We love the split-flap noticeboard that displays playful quotes; the sound of the letters changing reminds you of an early 20th-century train station.
