Hotel Review
The Hoxton, Shoreditch, London
In the funky heart of Shoreditch and with Shoreditch deep in its heart, the big, sociable lobby of this design-conscious hotel set the template for all the Hoxtons that followed. Bang on the main drag of Great Eastern Street, the hotel is a microcosm of the dynamic, creative neighbourhood it's located in - busy, buzzy and almost painfully cool, with subdued lighting on the ground floor even during the day and a lobby full of eager beavers on hot laptops. Just like the other hotels in the group, the reception is discreetly placed to the side of all the main action, while behind you can find a grouping of meeting and private dining spaces that cater to the sort of style-conscious folk that live and work around here.

Style & Character
Perfect for hipster businesspeople or just tourists looking for a cool, relatively affordable place to stay in one of London's most happening neighbourhoods. Its open-door policy in the lobby means that you feel instantly connected when you arrive, and the laid-back bar and informal restaurant encourage non-residents to linger.
Service & Facilities
There's nothing like clustering around the roaring fireplaces on each side of the lobby on a cold winter day - baronial splendour meets hipster charm. Like its counterparts, the Hoxton Shoreditch makes a point of being dog-friendly throughout.
