WHAT WE LOVE...

An all-suite boutique hotel in a prime riverfront location right by the historic Ponte Vecchio in central Florence. Part of the Lungarno Collection of hotels, owned by the Ferragamo family, framed black-and-white photographs from the family archive decorate the walls of the public areas and suites. There is a low-lit, low-key glamour to the lobby and Caffe dell'Oro where mid-century furniture and muted colours are offset by pieces of contemporary sculpture, elegant lamps and white-washed brick walls. Service is discreet and personal with a pre-arrival questionnaire that ensures you have exactly the right kind of pillow in your suite and the temperature is as you like it. Choose a suite with a view of the River Arno for the wow-factor.

It's ideal for haute-couture wearing couples. We love people-watching here - the streetside tables of the café are a prime spot for it.
