WHAT WE LOVE...

This smart city-centre address is like stepping into the home of some very stylish friends. Taking over the former Zara building on the Via Calimala, the main thoroughfare that leads from the Piazza della Republicca to the Ponte Vecchio, you're in the very heart of the Centro Storico. Inside is an oasis of calm, with green dominating the colour palette, accented by pink and white, the colours of the marble on the city's impressive cathedral. There's an Art Deco exuberance to the décor, with bronze flourishes and a mural-style palm frond wallpaper running the full height of the building in the stairwell. The food in Luca's restaurant is exceptional with lunchtime burgers and salads making way for tasting menus and wine pairings as the sun goes down.
