Hotel Review
The Galmont Hotel & Spa, Galway, Ireland
This modern hotel houses everything you'd need for a fun city break in Galway, from comfortable accommodation, a decent spa with added extras such as float therapies, good food focusing on local fare and eye-wateringly gorgeous views of Lough Atalia. The staff are welcoming and don't hold back when it comes to giving local tips on where to visit in Galway. If you have your own car you'll find the ample car parking available very handy, though those travelling by train will be grateful for the short distance to the hotel. You can walk into the city centre in 15minutes for cafés, restaurants and of course traditional Irish pubs.

The afternoon tea was tasty and the views over Lough Atalia added to the enjoyment. The light lunch offerings at Coopers are broad - we loved the Galway goats cheese salad with sunflower seeds, baby spinach, carrots and dressing.
