Hotel Review
Four Seasons Hotel, Hook, Hampshire
This five-star hotel occupies a red-brick Georgian manor house within sweeping, expansive grounds just 15 minutes outside of Basingstoke. Come for country pursuits such as clay pigeon shooting, horse riding or bird watching, or release your inner child with high ropes and a zip wire. Service is impeccable and everyone will call you by your name. Rooms are country-house style and food in the Wild Carrot restaurant is very good, with a modern British menu and an Italian twist, plus an excellent sommelier. Additionally, there are plenty of leisure facilities. Opt for a "mind massage" before your usual treatment and you'll be relaxed for the whole weekend.
