Hotel Review
Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort, Peyia, Cyprus
Guests staying at this ultra-luxury resort, which opened in June 2022, are in for a treat as no expense has been spared. Built in beautiful honey-coloured Cypriot limestone, the resort is a fusion of traditional and modern, warm wooden furnishings contrasting with an extravaganza of marble and panoramic windows and sleek lines. Beautiful glass fish and tears-inspired sculptures hang in the elegant lobby. The bedrooms with hi-tech controls and spacious bathrooms are state-of-the-art. Service is attentive throughout. Restaurants offering high-end fare cluster in the village square. A sumptuous spa, beekeeping and halloumi-making experiences, 50-metre pool and visiting Michelin-starred chefs ensures this resort is at the top of its game.

We loved the oysters and succulent grouper at Mesoyios and fantastic dark chocolate semifreddo with hazelnut praline on a stick at Sapori. At Bonsai, the entertaining teppanyaki chef juggles eggs and salt pots and tosses them into his hat.
