Hotel Review
Buckland Manor, Broadway, Cotswolds
The peace at Buckland Manor is the first thing you'll notice. The pretty honey-stone property sits in gorgeous grounds at the edge of picturesque Buckland village. It's a classic country house hotel, much loved by repeat visitors, with pleasing old-school decor - splendid wood panelling, handsome fireplaces, oil paintings and rugs on flagstone floors. Mullion windows and tall chimneys complete the look, and the spacious old building oozes charm.

There's nothing quite like a Buckland Manor afternoon tea complete with scones and cucumber sandwiches. The pan-fried cod with saffron fennel and puffed wild rice is a gourmet work of art.
