We love Towan Beach, with its grey seals frolicking in the ocean, and the beautiful Porthcurnick Beach, home to the famous Hidden Hut, serving delicious hot drinks and snacks. Holiday heaven!
The hotel overlooks the sea by St Mawes rustic harbour, with the village's shops and cafés a short walk away.
By car: the hotel is 5 hours 30 mins from London, 3 hours 30 mins from Bristol, and 1 hour 40 mins from Plymouth. Parking is available in the village.
By train: London Paddington to Truro takes around 4 hours 30 mins. The station is 40 mins from the hotel in a taxi. thetrainline.com

We love the Superior Sea View room with its spectacular views, contemporary oatmeal stripes, and stand-alone bathtub. We could quite happily get used to waking to the sound of waves, and gazing out across the Fal estuary!
