WHAT WE LOVE...

A grand dame hotel that has been standing guard over the Western corner of St Brelade's Bay since the 19th-century. Sea-facing rooms command views across the entire arc of the beach and over the medieval fisherman's chapel. Inside feels like a grand seaside villa, with a sweeping original staircase leading up to the rooms from the airy reception and comfortable sofas and chairs in pale contemporary upholstery. Opt for half-board for a nightly changing menu in the downstairs restaurant and you may find live music in the bar at weekends. Outside are manicured lawns, plus a sun terrace with swimming pool and tennis courts. Inside is a health club with a fitness room, pool and steam room and a spa offering Caudalie treatments.
