Hotel Review
The Kings Arms Hotel, Amersham, Buckinghamshire
This pub situated at the heart of attractive Amersham High Street is a good example of a coaching inn, and the oldest part dates back to the 1400s. It was first recorded as a public house in 1715, however long before, during the civil war, it is believed that Oliver Cromwell often used a room upstairs for meetings with his officers. It's not surprising that the building has been used in TV and film productions, such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Midsomer Murders and Miss Marple. Though steeped in history, The Kings Arms has modern comforts and its rooms are comfortable and quite spacious. Good walks, shops, and restaurants are on your doorstep, and both Heathrow and London are easily accessible.
