WHAT WE LOVE...

Nestled on the bridge between historic Windsor and Eton, you can dine overlooking the river Thames all year round. It's a decent hotel with a bijou spa and well-equipped gym but it's the lovely location and close proximity to a host of restaurants, bars and cafés in both notable neighbouring towns which make this hotel a popular choice. If you don't have the time to leave the hotel then you won't be disappointed by the food offering in the hotel restaurant with ample comfortable, chic seating areas if you'd like to recline with a tea or cocktail to unwind. In fact, it is a secret gem for locals to come and enjoy the riverside views whilst catching up with a friend.

We loved the cosy sofa by the roaring fire in the drawing room. Tucking into a cream tea of warm buttery scones, clotted cream, selection of jams and tea whilst looking out over the swans swimming up and down the Thames was a highlight.

The Brasserie: bar and terrace restuarant. Upscale dining, creative cuisine. All-day menu, open daily.
