WHAT WE LOVE...

A secluded romantic getaway where every room has a scenic green view over grass, trees and woodland paths. Luxurious trappings meet nature-inspired décor and hand-painted birds in frames line the walls of this distinctly smart hotel on the edge of Windsor Great Park. Families will revel in the spaciousness as well as the shared plates dining experience of restaurant 'Moorish'; couples can opt for a fine-dining experience boasting seasonal produce, with the backdrop of hand-painted lime trees in the cosy alcove seating at restaurant 1215. The stunning spa offers serenity, and you won't want to leave the Himalayan salt room post-treatment as you gaze out over the grand outdoor Jacuzzi. If you have a dog, they'll get personalised trappings and acres to play in.

Suited to families with or without a dog, romantic couples and single travellers wanting a nurturing luxurious spa break. It was lovely to see the remaining two original stone fireplaces as centrepieces.

Food & Drink

For a non-drinker there was much more than a virgin mojito. We loved the Savill Garden: Everleaf Forest 0%, homemade soda, elderflower and citrus. Breakfast offerings were varied, the pearl barley espelette, yellow and red cherry tomatoes, avocado and poached egg was delicious.

MOREISH Restaurant: stylish restaurant. European and Middle-Eastern fusion cuisine. Open daily for breakfast and dinner.
1215 Restaurant: intimate restaurant. British cuisine, local produce. Open Tue-Sat, 5:30-9:30pm. Tasting menu from £75.
