WHAT WE LOVE...

Once a humble wharf building, this upmarket hotel provides a front-row seat to the action on Sydney Harbour. Many of the guest rooms sit just above water level giving a unique, up-close view of the boats criss-crossing the harbour. It sits at the base of the iconic harbour bridge, within walking distance of the city centre and the ferry terminal at Circular Quay. Some characterful features from its wharf days remain, and the 189 rooms and suites are individually decorated so the accommodation doesn't lack personality the way a lot of large hotels do. With a fancy bar, waterfront restaurant, and some of the best harbour-view accommodation in the city, this is a luxurious base from which to explore Sydney.

Perfect for anyone looking for somewhere special to stay in Sydney. The romance factor is high in the suites - no wonder they offer proposal packages. If you can't stretch to a room with balcony, there are plenty of waterside spots to sit and enjoy the view.
